iPhone

So the iPhone has been released and all the daft punters are happily enjoying their expensive gadget. I still didn't want one.

It appears however, my iPod mini was set to self destruct at the mere mention of not wanting a newer iPod, and has now decided to run out of battery 5 minutes after each charge. Even google can't seem to give me a straight answer. So far I have restored the iPod to it's factory state, left it on charge for a couple of days, I'm now at the point where I may replace the battery if I dare.

So a week of freebies has led to a weekend of sh*t.
  • My iPod playing up
  • Watching 60 minutes of abysmal Derby County getting thrashed by the Hammers
The only real thing to look forward to is going back to work tomorrow after 5 months working at home with a dodgy knee, which I'm happy to say is at 90% better. (Thanks to a Forest supporting physiotherapist - boo!!!)

Day 12 - Nothing to see Here
For the first time in what seems like years to me, but only a couple of weeks, I have had a very unevetful day,

No bloodtests, no operations, (not even a CRP test)
Of course I have my daily injection for DVT and my physio "Boot Camp" session, but apart from that, NOTHING HAPPENED.

I even managed to watch Match of the Day to see my beloved Derby get thrashed 4-0 by Tottenham - Pah !!!

The consultant again mentioned "Going home" as long as CRP drops tomorrow and Monday.

Now then, how do I get to watch the matches tomorrow...
  • Blackburn v Arsenal
  • Liverpool v Chelsea
  • Man City v Man Utd

Super Duper RamsWe are Premiership, say we are premiership

Well done Derby County

A day out to Wembley, next years season ticket purchase and the stress of the playoffs has most definatlely been worth the wait/money/stress.

Unlike my Nottingham Forest and Yeovil Town supporting friends, we went all the way in what has been dubbed the most expensive football game in the world. (worth £60 million to the winner).

and we did it...... Oh yes we did it.

Well done super Rams, well done Billy Davis, and well done me for not getting completely rat-arsed that I slept through the game.

Shame it was/wasn't a sellout. The attendance was 74,500 of the 90,000 capacity, maths definately didn't add up there. Derby sold out in less than a day of the tickets going on general sale.

Garstang - Nothing to say?, if not, please change to your blog, Villa are no longer the "Midlands only Premiership Team", you will get beat by Birmingham AND Derby next year.

No Joke

An Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman each run a football team.

Unfortunately this isn't a joke, it's real life and we need the Scotsman to have the last laugh.....
Come on you RAMS !!!

EDIT: 23:06 - Denied... Lost to Crystal Palace which means we now have to enter the dreaded playoffs
Final to be played Monday 28 May
